ImportError: No module named raw

Hello al.
I followed the instructions for installing the raw data module for weewx (https://bitbucket.org/lirpa/mesowx/overview) however weewx will no longer load. The error is straightforward enough:
"ImportError: No module named raw"
But I cannot figure out why weewx does not "see" the module. Any advice?

I'll answer my own question here. The raw.py python script goes in the "user" folder of the main weewx directory. e.g. /usr/share/weewx/user/
