Morning Mini Yoga for Dancers with Victoria of Mesmeric 9:30a
Please join our own newly certified Victoria as she debuts as our yoga
teacher! Mini class will be 30 mins to wake you up and get you
stretched out for the exciting day ahead! ALL LEVELS - Beginners
Welcome and Yoga Enthusiasts please come to support :-) Bring a yoga

Divination and Dance 10am
Get in touch with your inner psychic and dance with the numinous!
Explore Tarot and Tribal, Trance Movements, get your groove on and get
a reading to boot! Taught by Mystic Lotus Director and Spiritual
Medium, Melissa "Mylitta" Benjamin.
Shimmy 11am
A dance popular in the 1920s, characterized by rapid shaking of the
body. Shimmy-Licious with Lauren Jalbert: Take your everyday shimmy,
multiply it by 100 add 1000 and then multiply it by another 100. Get
your motors running, let them go and focus on adding multiple layers.
American Tribal Style Belly Dance with Krisztina of Czigany 12pm:
Power, grace, presence and elegance - who says you can't have it all?
ATS is the building block of all Tribal belly dance. Get back to your
roots and see where it all began. Learn the foundation steps in this
exciting Tribal group improv-based dance style. All skill levels.
Krisztina is the founder and artistic director of FatChanceBellyDance
sister studio Czigany World Fusion, is an ATS certified instructor.
“Look! No hands!” From Canes to Candles with Shahira 1pm
So you can balance that prop on your head....now what do you do? Prop
balancing adds awe to any performance and highlights a dancer's
balance, grace and skill. Participants will learn to use props for
both standing work and floor work or just for fun! Bring a cane if you
have one or Shahira will have props on hand to use in class. Beginners
& All Levels Welcome.
Wunderkammer de le de Boheme with Sarah Schneider Koning 2pm
See what Sarah has collected in her cabinet of belly dance
curiosities! This is a Steampunk/Neo-Victorian themed workshop
focusing on combinations and stage presence.
The Adventures of Belly Holmes with KayLouise of Mesmeric 3pm
Registration for this workshop is CLOSED
This fusion dance choreography workshop will focus on mood and
theatrics, and of course proper posture, poses and "liquid hands."
Beginners are welcome in this workshop but some material may be
unfamilliar. All Levels. Please bring a full skirt that can be
"bustled" in the back.
Poi Workshop with Becca the Gypsette of Carnivale Mijnoon 4pm
Beginners will learn the basics of fire spinning and silk poi
spinning.
Practice poi will be provided for beginners or you may bring your own
poi or there will be a few on hand for purchase.
Arabic Raqs Sharqi 4pm -
Traditional Cabaret Belly Dance with the sultry Nadira
Find the drama and sensuality with slow gooey movements. This workshop
will break down the technique for the rich round hip and core
movements that are the heart of belly dance. We'll work on improvising
with some of the most beautiful Arabic music from singers like Warda
to find the sensuality within Arabic style belly dance. The video link
above will give you a peek into what will be taught in this workshop.
