1This movie still shows us that teens have lots of problems and that they have family troubles. One thing that i saw that was new that goes on to day is the challenge of their sex.
2.This movie still shows stereotype like the jock is still there and is seemed as the strongest one and very manly. They also show the pretty girl. We still see the goth girl.

1) This teen movie still explore popular themes like the break fast club by showing music, which is the majority of what teens like. It also shows events of how school is really for people that have their own issues or are under depression. Themes that everything will always turn out for the better even in you don't think so.
2) This movie continues to explore the stereotypical lives of teenagers by showing the issues teenagers face and how they might be discriminated by their peers. It also shows how like the stereotypical jocks as football players and being the popular ones as well the bullies. It as well shown the nerd being a loner and not really experiencing friendships due to them being bullied.
3) The songs i would choose in making a mix tape is Beatles songs since they are usually romantic and that slow paced relaxing feeling. The Beatles songs show hidden messages and always make the right feeling to it. Four song i would include would be This Girl, Twist and Shout, Hey Mr. Postman, Black Keys, and Dont bother me, which is all created by the Beatles
1) The theme music is similar in both movies. They have songs that go with the scene. A new theme is sexuality. Today sexuality preference is a problem. People make fun of those who are gay today in high schools.
2) The movie still explores the stereotypes of teenagers by showing the issue they face in their everyday life. They face peer pressure with drugs and wanting to fit in with the cool kids.
3) I don't have any songs relating to high school.
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower continues to explore the concurring teen movie themes of defining and struggling with self-identity, dealing with at-home life versus school life, and coping with incidents that may have caused damage in the past. The theme that would be most attributed to common interests of teen movie goers today is the theme of exploring sexuality. In earlier days, any themes of discovering sexuality might have been shunned, but in these times, discussing sexuality is more socially accepted.
2. This film over-accentuates the stereotypes of high school students. It includes the goths, the nerds, the populars, the jocks, the cools, and virtually all of the different stereotypical cliques from high schools. This movie explores the people in these specific stereotypes and defines their musical tastes, typical personalities, and life struggles.
3. I would most definitely choose any song by the artist Jhameel, a song from a Broadway show I love, a Korean song, and a song that I used to listen to with my friends in middle school. I would choose a song from each of these categories because I believe that people are what they listen to (most of the time)...and I would say that these songs define me (at the moment, at least).
1.How does this teen movie continue to explore some of the popular themes from films like The Breakfast Club? What new themes does it explore that might relate to teen movie goers today?
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a really good movie and people can relate to this movie because some specs happen in real life, that why this movie also the book is so popular. It relates to sexually , being gay and a bunch of other things.
2.How does this movie continue to explore the stereotypes surrounding teenage life? What observations does the movie make about stereotypes in high school?
I think the people believe stereotypes in teenage life are that you are supposed to belong in a group meaning, needs with needs and popular people with the popular. In the movie Perks of Being a Wallflower, we see that there is more to just the average stereotype.
