legislative orientation TOMORROW for LDS faith day

Hello MESJ of SLC:
In lieu of our January progressive FHE, MESJ of SLC will attend the CORC legislative orientation TOMORROW at the Capitol Building.
When: Thursday, January 17
Time: 11:30am or 3pm (two sessions of the same info)
Where: Rotunda at the Capitol Building
What: Legislative orientation to prepare for LDS Faith Day at the Legislature on February 12th.
No need to RSVP for this orientation, but if you plan on attending please let us know so we can look out for you. At least three members of MESJ will be at the 11:30am orientation.
Information about LDS Faith Day is attached. MESJ will be picking a few bills to lobby for. If there are any bills that you are particularly interested in seeing pass or not pass, please let me know and we'll add it to the list for LDS faith day. Email: crystalm...@gmail.com

When: Monday, February 10
Time: 6-8pm
Where: 450 E 100 S #29, SLC
What: Darron Smith, author of Black and Mormon, will speak about african-american issues in relation to Church history in honor of Black History Month
