Hi All, for the last couple of weeks we have been working with the CDC
to integrate mesh4x with EpiInfo and give them a tailored UI so that
that a user can just point to their database and 'sync' over the
internet.
for that we had to advance the state of the sync server, and given
many on this list had asked me to post information about it if we
continued work on it, here it is

Also in the last 3 weeks we added an Excel adapter (based on the
Apache Poi libraries) and an Access adapter (really the Hibernate
adapter, but with some added sugar from the UI to be able to just
point to an MDB without having to manually register an ODBC data
source; currently we are still tweaking it as Access can annoy
Hibernate really easily (e.g.not requiring primary keys) and Access
apps use 'autoincrement' primary keys a lot which is making us flex
the muscles of the mesh4x ID mapping a bit more than expected)

Let us know if you have any questions, thanks!
