Thank you,

As a software architect, I see in Mesh4x a powerful framework and tool
to add synchronization capabilities to your own applications. I think
it can bring an interesting added value to business applications.
For the moment I realize a POC by using Mesh4j in a web application
developed with Grails (an agile and powerful web framework), but I
think already go futher by managing feeds on database instead on
files.

My name is Matias Molinas. I am a software architect at www.softwaresantafe.com
. I am also using Mesh4j in a web application developed with Grails.
It would be interesting to make a Mesh4j plugin for Grails. How are
using Mesh4j in your application?

Hello Matias,

I just post an article on my web site here: http://www.odelia-technologies.com/node/167
; this article descibes an example that uses mesh4j with a Grails
application. You can have a look with this link on my GrailsWorks web
site: http://www.grailsworks.com/grailsbox/feedSync.
To resume I explain that with FeedSync, the mesh4x project and Grails,
you can do bidirectional synchronizations. In the case of this POC I
just use two RSS feeds, but the main idea is that you can synchronize
a local feed (stored in an XML file), using FeedAdapter, with a
distant one using the HttpSyncAdapter and a specific URL (thank to the
Grails UrlMappings).
Before a Grails plugin, the next step for me will be to develop a
Grails adapter to persist items using the ORM Grails capability.

What do you have developed with Grails and mesh4j?

Cheers,
