To ensure the longevity of your dynasty, you need to equip your descendants with the best traits in Crusader Kings III. However, these traits come in all shapes and sizes. Your children inherit some from their parents while developing others through life events. You can unlock a few valuable traits by leveling up specific lifestyle trees, and others come from RNG events that are out of your control.

There are six primary congenital traits in Crusader Kings III. Three of them are good, and three of them are bad. There is no benefit to inheriting any bad ones, so avoid them like the plague (pun intended).

The Beautiful trait grants +3 diplomacy and increases your attractiveness and fertility by 30%. Beautiful characters make great diplomats, so try working this into your secondary family (cousins, nieces, nephews) and appointing them as your Chancellors once you assume control of your player heir.

The Giant trait comes with pros and cons. On the one hand, it increases your prowess by +6 but comes with a minor health penalty. Tribal rulers appreciate Giants more, and your vassals, in general, have a +5 opinion of you. Try turning them into giants once you breed the Amazonian/Herculean traits into your knights. See how quickly enemy armies run in fear of your superhuman fighting squad.

Avaricious and its associated skills are crucial to becoming filthy rich. After filling out the Avaricious stewardship tree, you unlock this trait, giving you +2 stewardship and 15% holding taxes. The higher your stewardship, the more holdings you can have. Therefore, we like to pair this with the Domain Focus, giving us an extra +3 stewardship.

Remember, every five stewardship points increases your domain limit by one. So, if you have 20 stewardship, you can have four extra holdings (on top of what your rank permits). The more holdings you have, the more money you earn since you get 100% taxes and levies from your domain.

Personality traits in Crusader Kings III buff/debuff your overall skills and shape how other characters think of you. These traits stick with you for the rest of your life, so choosing the right ones in childhood is crucial later in life.

To get high-tier education traits, you must match the best guardian to the child based on their education preference. So, a child with a Diplomacy education preference should be taught by a character with high diplomacy, preferably someone with the Genius trait, for the best results.

If recent numbers are anything to go by, Xbox's recent strategy change, which involves porting some first-party Xbox games to other competing consoles, has already been successful after just a few months.

PlayStation revealed its top downloaded games for May in a blog posted on Thursday for both the PlayStation 5 and 4. While it doesn't list exact numbers, the top game for the U.S., Canada, and the EU is Sea of Thieves, which made its way over from Xbox console exclusivity on April 30.

The latest free-to-play RPG from HoYoverse is upon us, but has a vastly different look than Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail. Zenless Zone Zero embraces a more cyberpunk style but is just as action-packed and full of flashy new character designs. Each game has explored multiplayer in new ways, with this latest game allowing players more direct interaction than ever with a complete co-op mode. However, being on PlayStation, mobile, and PC, you never know how cross-platform support will work on such different systems. There's no reason to not give this game a shot, but do you need to worry about which platform you start on if you want to play with friends or carry over your progress? Here's the answer.
Does Zenless Zone Zero have cross-platform support?
Yes, Zenless Zone Zero has full cross-platform support. Crossplay will apply to all players on PlayStation, iOS, Android, and PC so you never have to worry about which system you or your friends are on.

Being available on so many platforms, it is also a seamless process to transfer your progress via cross-progression. After you make your account on one platform, you can easily log in on another to continue your fight wherever you are. That's all as expected for a HoYoverse title, but it's nice to know it is confirmed for Zenless Zone Zero as well.

There have been a few Xbox devices that have never come to fruition, one of which was Keystone, a prototype for an affordable game streaming device you could hook up to your TV or monitor. Thanks to a surfaced patent, we've gotten an even closer look at what it would've potentially looked like.

How can I ensure that my children are receiving an education befitting their noble birth? I've ended up trying a number of different things, from educating them myself, (which is only allowed sometimes, apparently) to giving them to a learned scholar, to giving them to someone with balanced, moderately high stats.

Most importantly the child has highly increased chances to get the education trait that the guardian has, and in the case of NPC guardians, the personality traits as well. If you want your child to have high intrigue, you should search for an Elusive Shadow to educate them. Or if you want your child to have high stewardship, find someone with Midas Touched.

Educating your heir
Most of the time, you want to educate your heir, so you can pick some good traits. However, if you've got a rubbish education and garbage stats, you might instead opt for a better suited mentor. Look for people who have a good education, good stats and good traits. Some traits give an opinion bonus to all future vassals. They generally like people who are dilligent, kind, just, brave etc., so look for mentors with those skills, and avoid people with negative opinion traits (e.g. cruel, slothful).

Educating your non-heir offspring
People see it as an honour to be allowed to mentor people in direct line to the throne. If you let a vassal mentor your child, they will get a +20 opinion modifier to you. If you have a surplus of children, this is one way to boost peoples opinion of you. Generally I like to educate my sons, in case accidents happen to my immediate heir (they seem to be slightly prone to this for some weird reason!), but it's up to you. Some players even deliberately give children with strong claims rubbish educations, so they end up being a weaker threat to your favourite heir.

Also, try to avoid giving your vassals dope stats in intrigue, as that just makes them more capable of plotting against you. Your spymaster shouldn't have any titles or claims that matter in your grand scheme.

IMPORTANT: You never want a direct vassal to be ambitious, because although it gives the character some kickass stats, it may also give them a -50 opinion to their liege (that's you!), if they have some kind of claim (de jure or otherwise) to your titles, plus they are more likely to plot against you. Try to match them with a content mentor instead (+50 opinion to liege). Ideally, the only ambitious character in your realm are you and your heir apparent. Everybody else should be super content and chill with you being the boss. I simply don't let ambitious people mentor anyone, and never if the child has any kind of claim.

The best way to ensure that your children will receive a good education is to educate them yourself. For each time you receive an education event, if they are under an NPC guardian, they will take a random choice in those given, which often have 50% chance to give the child a bad trait.

But there are limits to education. First, only children between 6-16 can be educated. Also, an adult can only have up to two wards at a time. Finally, their parents may not want you to take the child if he lives in a foreign court (for example, your wife is also a ruler).

Another things to look at are education trait. Each character can have only one, there is one for each stat and they have 4 level. For example, Indulgent wastrel (stewardhip 1) or grey eminence (diplomacy 4) are education trait. They are determined by the guardian of the child when he turns 16, and can not go higher than their's. It is a good tactic to change a child's guardian a few weeks before his 16 birthday to one with a trait you want and high stats.

Traits represent a character's personality, abilities, reputation, and physical characteristics. They can be gained or lost during events and education. They affect a variety of areas, everything from attributes to relations. Additionally, most traits are tied to certain events occurring or affect which options are available in events. Paying attention to obtaining the right traits is essential for a good ruler.

A trait that has opposites (functionally including different levels of the same characteristic) cannot be had simultaneously with them. For example, a character with Genius cannot also have Slow or Quick .

Traits affect the choices AI characters make in events. For example, when a courtier shows interest in an affair, a Lustful ruler is more likely to choose "Make a move". Traits also affect AI choices in diplomatic actions, by modifying five AI parameters: rationality, zeal, greed, honor, and ambition.

Each character gets an education trait upon becoming an adult (at 16 years-old) and dependent on the child's education. In the base game, they are usually close to the education of their guardian, though there is some random variation.

The Conclave DLC reduces the impact of the guardian's own education by implementing a focus driven system. Education by guardians with high-level military traits also grants leadership traits. Military educations can improve to the next level by a random battlefield event, while the others can be improved with random events from the corresponding focus.
