Mesa Sprint Triathlon Meeting Report

Many thanks to those who could make it to our meeting on Thursday. We’re making great progress. Special thanks to all who have taken on specific assignments.
One thing all of us can help with is sponsorships. Please let me know if you have any connections with a potential sponsor or would be willing to approach one of the potential sponsors we have identified. I’ve attached a revised sponsorship appeal letter you can use. Besides the various monetary sponsorship levels described in the letter, we could use in-kind donations for prizes, food and drink.
Please also share your ideas for prizes for the youth Splash ‘n Dash race we’re planning just prior to the Triathlon/Duathlon. For instance, I think it would be cool to give each youth participant a swim cap with the event logo on it. We could do metals, trophies, bracelets or whatever.
One more item we could use some input on is who we might hire as our race director. Please respond if you know of a person or company who could help us make this inaugural event a success.
