May's meeting: Book order and in-person meeting protocol discussion

Hi everyone,

I want to briefly follow up on some discussion from last night's meeting. Next month's meeting, Wednesday May 12th, will be an in-person event at the Dry Dock. Author Sue Leaf will be presenting some of her work on the book: Minnesota's Geologist-The Life of Newton Horace Winchell.

We are placing a group order for several copies of her book through Zenith Bookstore to be distributed at Sue's talk on the 12th. If you are interested in obtaining a copy and will attend Sue's talk, please, email me at jackgi...@gmail.com and I will place your name on the group order list. I greatly enjoyed this book and encourage you to consider purchasing a copy. Please, email me by the end of the day Monday April 26th if you would like to reserve a copy to be picked up at May's meeting.

Also, we want to ensure this in-person meeting is conducted as safely as is feasible. If you would like to attend and have specific concerns that you think should be addressed, please, contact me at jackgi...@gmail.com and the MRGS board will discuss those concerns and potentially incorporate them into our meeting plans.
