Well there has been some rumours spreading around about a NEW all tube
bass head from Boogie. I first heard about it on talkbass.com from the
infamous Tom Bowlus (that man is the Noah of bass amps. I swear he
owns two of everything!). I have then seen it repeated elsewhere. Well
I finally got confirmation from someone at Mesa that it is in the
works! No details as of yet. I did put in my 2 cents that IMHO they
should not include a bunch of silly features like compressors and
exciters. Just pack as many watts as possible, and include a drive
channel!

It makes sense. They are so loudest proponent of tube technology. It
is strange that they do not offer an all-tube bass head. It also
makes sense that they would discontinue the 400+ a few years before
releasing a replacement. No point in competing with yourself.

Can't wait to see what they create. If I had my way it would have its
tubes up front and visible thru a grill.
