Any Bostonians able to see the race?

Well, I live quite some distance from Boston but watched it on
streaming video. That seems to be the newest mode for watching a lot
of the minor sports. It still needs a lot of work to even come close
to TV. Nice run by all three ladies.

Tim S. was there to watch it in person. Then he ran the BAA marathon
on the Monday.

He and I were speculating whether Magdalena would have been caught if
it was on a more conventional course without so many out and backs.
Her pursuers could see her often. On a point to point, or a loop
course, she would have been out of sight. Of course, even in that
situation Deena et al would still probably have been able to learn
what the gap was from various sources.
