Dear Friend,
A good story deserves a good broadcast presentation. But even when the presentation is not so good, it still can provide a few valuable lessons.
I was listening to a newscast last week when I heard the first problem. So I obtained a transcript and read it, word-by-word. Sure enough, I ran into a slew of other problems. Which means even more little lessons.
As a result, I wrote an article, “CNN: When Bad Things Happen to a Sad Story.” You can read it at my website: http://www.mervinblock.com/?q=node/113
