Hello Mersorcium Community,

We hope this message finds you well! We're excited to announce our first seminar of 2025.

This time we will have a Discussion session chaired by Isabel Sanz, board-member of the community where we will address the: "Identification and Verification of merAB genes".

For this seminar, we’d love your help! One key focus will be discussing the methodologies used by different research groups to effectively identify and verify merAB genes in natural samples.

We kindly ask you to share with use before the seminar (you can reply to this email):

• The methodologies you've been using,
• Bioinformatic pipelines,
• Relevant reference papers or resources that might benefit the community.

We’ll compile all the contributions and use them as a foundation for our discussion during the seminar.
