Dave Whyte at the University of Liverpool has asked me to circulate details of a seminar next week. Details below and attached.

Bree Carlton is giving a seminar at the Liverpool University on Tuesday 25th November. The paper is on Bree’s work with women’s organisations who actively challenge the prison system in Victoria, Australia.

 

'A Gender for Change': genealogies of women's penal reform and the reconfiguration of abolition resistance in Victoria, Australia'  Dr Bree Carlton, Monash University, Melbourne. Eleanor Rathbone Building, Hearnshaw LT 4.00-6.00pm
