Tomorrow Tuesday 8th November - 7pm at Next To Nowhere
Sally has recently returned from Chalkida, where she has been working with refugee mothers and children. She is part of a small group of independent activists who have set up CRIBS International (Care for Refugee Interim Baby Shelters,
http://cribsinternational.org/), a non-profit that is renting and maintaining flats near the refugee camps for post partum mums and their families to recover from giving birth in a safe, clean environment.
Sally will give a talk about the work of CRIBS and the conditions for refugee mothers and children in Greece, and there will be time for questions and discussion.
Vegan food will be available from 7pm.
Children are welcome - please let us know if you will need any support with childcare in order to access this event.
Next to Nowhere is located in the basement of 96 Bold Street, and is accessible by stairs or a lift, which can take one wheelchair and the person using it, but not an additional person at the same time. Please let us know if you need any more information or support to access the space. Ring the white bell on the red door nextdoor to News From Nowhere bookshop
