Jill Liddington will talk about the suffragette movement on Merseyside,
and why suffragette organisations urged women, all still voteless, to
boycott the 1911 government census. She will also read from her latest
book Vanishing for the Vote: Suffrage, Citizenship & the Battle for the
Census (£16.99, published by Manchester UP, 2014)
