Welcome to the Merseyside Women's Movement googlegroup!
We are a women-run community organisation committed to promoting women’s activism in Merseyside. We started in 2007 and have been building events and activities around International Women’s Day ever since. We are seeking to create links between existing organisations in and around Merseyside, and to get more people involved! So far, we have organized demonstrations, festivals, gigs, theatrical performances and other events, involving women and men from across the community. Our aim is to promote feminism and women’s politics in Merseyside through peaceful community action.
