Hi all,

Iam using IB 5.6 and Win NT 4.0. I had shadowed my
database,
in to another hard disc. But I don't know how to activate the
shadow database.
when I tried this command in DOS prompt
'C:\program files\ interbase corp\interbase\bin> gfix -a -user sysdba
-password masterkey 'f:\mewshadow\mew.shd'

it's giving error
-Unable to complete network request to host " f ".
-Failed to locate host machine.
-The specified name was not find in host file or Domain name services.

Will anyone suggest me in this regard.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
igdba.

Probably f: ist a network drive.
IB does not allow access to network drives.

I know that Windows millenium gives problems with .GDB extension. And

Thank you.
