Merriam (Kansas) Organic (Farmers') Market is a registered non-profit organization, 

formed to promote and support local organic and free-range growers, green businesses and artisans. 

 

We are very pleased to have more folks 
expressing an interest in Merriam Organic Market, 
and we are happy to keep adding our friends to M.O.M.'s eList, looking forward to a time when we can serve you.

But...
2008 was a very trying year and, in the face of all the current economic shifts and business challenges, we will not pursue an outdoor market again this year.
Again, M.O.M. will *not* reopen in the spring of 2009, pending acquisition of a permanent indoor facility which will allow for week-long business operations, including a certifiable 100-Mile kitchen and a multi-grower CSA program.  

Those friends of ours who are or may have connections to philanthropic property owners (those with suitable buildings on or near Merriam Drive, Merriam Lane or Merriam, KS) are encouraged to contact the market manager, Dave Lawrence, directly at 913-620-8427.
