URGENT: MERL Director for Indonesia position

Good Day!

 

I am part of a proposal team and we are currently in very time limited BAFO  on a USAID Indonesia Flagship Maternal and Newborn Health Activity.  We are looking for a local Indonesian Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Director – this is designated as key personnel in a 5 year project continuation of EMAS. 

 

Below are key points that the candidate must have among others:

 

The MERL Director must have experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems. This must include experience in designing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation system that can capture information at the Flagship MNH Activity level as well as at the individual local solution level. The MERL Director must also have experience in leading processes to review and analyze global and local evidence to inform the establishment of in country priorities for program and policy action. He/She must have exceptional communications and presentation skills, fluency in the English language, strong teamwork and effective cross-cultural interpersonal skills. The MERL Director must have significant experience working in middle income (lower and/or upper middle income) countries with experience relevant to the Approach.
