Hi
First of all, I would like to thank you forMerengue, it is a great CMS. i'm a real fan of this project.
My question is
I'm developing a travel site and I would like to visualize de differents states of the publishing workflow: How can I visualize the draft content as editor in order to aprove it and change it as published?
Thanks in advance
Best regards

Hi,

I'm not sure I undestand your question, but you can see a "View <contenttype> on Site" link in the content's admin page. This link will go to the public view, yet in draft state.

But if you refer "is there any link to list all the contents to be reviewed?", the answer is _yes_, in /admin/review/reviewtask/ URL will list all your review tasks. The trick is the "pending" state: if you set a content as "pending", Merengue will create a review task to all reviewers, who are users with "Can set as published" permission. By default there is a "Reviewers" group with that permission.

So, the intended workflow is:
 1. An editor creates content in draft state.
 2. When the editor think the content is ready for publishing, he set it as "pending".
 3. The reviewer goes to the review task listing.
 4. The reviewer publish the contents are correct.

I hope I answer well to your question.

Manuel Saelices.

Hi Manuel, thanks for your answer.
One more question: What's the relationship between the main content of the section and the publication status?
I mean, I should set as main content of a section only a published one?
Gracias nuevamente

Hi Victor,

there is no relationship between an object permission and the section main content. You could set a draft content as the main content of a section.

However, if you remove the "view" permission for all contents in draft status for anonymous users, non authenticated users won't see those draft contents.
