So how often you will set bios password and forget it and after while you are trying to access your laptops bios and don't remember password... well... that never happened to me and don't believe there's to many people like that around:). Most of my laptops are coming from offices so they will have bios passwords installed by the system admins so users could not mess up some important settings so no Mickey Mouse PS.. but whatever your reasons are to unlock Acer bios password here is very simple tutorial how to do it and if for some reason it doesn't work then don't blame me since it is free service and no warranty given :)
Ok let start - turn on your Acer laptop and immediately start pressing F2 button on your keyboard, F2 button is used to access bios so now you should see "Enter Current Password" - enter wrong password 3 times and you should see "Enter Unlock Password", now press enter and you should see your Unlock Key... take a note of that key and go to BiOSBUG.com, enter that key into search field and press "Send Request" button and few seconds later you should get your Acer bios unlock key.
Now take a note of that key and go back to your laptop and enter that into "Enter Unlock Password" box and if successful you should be in bios, now in bios go to security tab and press enter on Set Supervisor Password and little box with 3 password fields should pop up, enter your unlock key from BiOSBUG.com into first field which is current password field and leave new password field and confirm field blank just hit enter 2 times. Now navigate Exit tab and press on Exit Saving Changes and that's it.. your laptop should have no bios password anymore and you should be able to boot to Windows OS or whatever you have installed.
If you can still load the operating system, you can reset the password with Acer eSettings Management (Acer eSettings Management --> Click BIOS Passwords near the footer of the screen --> Use Create Password or Remove Password option).
try restarting the computer in safe mode or try login bios menu using F2 and reset the bios if you have any other issue in computer that can be fixed doing the normal reset . try this post how to reset the computer password and settings see if that works for you .

There is no default bios password set by Acer or by any manufacturers of PCs to their bios, Acer does not set any bios passwords to any of their PCs, as this is all done by a user. Its very unusual that you have experienced this out of nowhere. Definitely contact Acer support and ask for their solution(s), but there are other external solutions that you can look up in regard to this problem that may work? That's as far as I can help you out, as you need to consult Acer and ask them if they cover this under the Acer warranty, also please let the community know the result of this problem and if it was solved, as it will be very helpful to other users, thanks.
