i am using Qtp 11.0 version and ie8
i opened qtp first and then i opened ie even though the problem not solved
i checked security option in internet option also

Tools-->options-->Restore Layout. And then close QTP and open it again.

i tried restore layout also still the problem is not solved
when i tried to add sign in web button suddenly the internet exploree stopped working what should i do to overcome this problem

This is a known issue with  IE9 and QTP on Win 7.

Resolution : Install patch  QTPWEB_00086 to fix the issue.
