execute multiple test scripts in qtp

Hi,

we need to execute multiple test scripts (50 around) in a batch (sequence). we don't use qc. also want to see results of each test scripts. Please suggest how this can be done. In the Batch Runner of QTP, there is a limitation that the results of all scripts can be viewed only manually. so don't want to use Batch Runner of QTP. it is good for us if we can show the results of each step of each test script in an excel file. pls reply urgently any method

You could use QTP COM api in combination with Excel COM api to run & update test results.

use MultiTestManager which helps to run all the QTP test scripts as a batch. It is free to download.

i use the AOM code and qtp save the result of each script separately. but i have to open each file for seeing the result

is there any way by which i can read the result from QTP Run Result Viewer and store Pass/Fail for each step in an excel file

In AOM you have a method called  QTPObj.Test.LastRunResults.Status which will tell whether the test execution is passed or failed, which you can write in a Excel file.

Hi,

 Here I wan to know about how to use the different scripts global datatable sheet in the particular scripts in QTP while running time.

For Eg: I have created 5 scripts with the values in the datatable. I want to combine all the five scripts by using the 'Call to copy Action' options. So here i want to know how to use the % datatbales in one particular datatable sheet?

knndly guide me throught this???
