Select Web add-in when you open QTP
Open browser after QTP
Don't use the latest versions of IE.

Web add-in comes with the trail QTP installation, if you open QTP menu -->Help -> About, you can see which addins are selected.

Which version of QTP/IE do you have?

you can select the add-ins when you install QTP. Don't know if its
possible to add it later on.

try 'low level recording mode'. i think you can get to it from
recording options.

Try this.

Go To IE ->Tools->InternetOptions-> Click on Programs Tab

Hi Neelam,

  Try this one...

Open QTP first then open web application and then try to recognize web objects.

Web-addin is required in case of advance web object like Ajax.

Srinadh,

It is my last comment on thread. 99% of chance, that you have conflict
between QTP version and IE version. The latest version of QTP is 10.
Which IE supports QTP 9.2, you can find by yourself. You may write
hundred times "help, help", if you are not providing required
information, no one would be able to help you.

Thanks, don't bother to answer,

Roman

Hi Neelam,
I am not sure whether, QTP 9.2 support Windows vista, it will work if you disable tab browsing option, but will not support will full efficiency.
Go to the link below, this might help.

I think QTP 9.5 and above support Win Vista, and IE 7 and above.
