Using the API and get only claimed website

Hi
I am using the phone no. call (http://api.merchantcircle.com/api/v1/
company/phone)
searching for business by the phone no.
But I don't get results when the business is not claimed.
Is this is the way its suppose to work ?
Is there a way to search for unclaimed sites?

This is the intended behavior. Sorry, for contractual reasons, we can't provide the unclaimed data.
