adding raw mode

I've been thinking that it might be handy to be able to see the
raw form of pages, to make quick checks of the Markdown source.
This could be done as a link on the page (eg, below the line of
languages), but it would be less obtrusive to simply add ".raw"
to the URL, as:

http://book.merbist.com/front-matter/preface.raw

Any objections to my adding such a feature? Any better ways to
do it?
