Eklavya arrived in Mumbai to coordinate with the Mumbai hospitals before our arrival. He has a few travel tips for us. Thanks so much Eklavya!

Please see below:

-Be prepared for monsoon - Do advise the group to be prepared to get wet in the rain. Please carry insect repellent, medicines, clothing accordingly. Please refrain from wearing denims (aka jeans) while meeting doctors in Mumbai. Dervan denims will do. Mumbai is a little conscious on clothes. That being said there is not hard and fast rule that denims are not allowed, just making sure not everyone arrives in denims for the meetings.

-August 4th presentation - Some senior doctors will be meeting with us on Sunday to listen to our presentation. Lets make the innovators present this and give as much detail as possible to them regarding their devices. This goes for each of our meetings. We'll probably need to format the presentation and have a quick run through of the presentation either Sat morning or Sat evening (or even during the flight).

-Foreign Exchange - Do not forget to carry foreign exchange/we can get it done here as well if you do not wish to carry.

-Inform CREDIT CARD companies - Please inform your bank/credit card companies that you are going to India, so that they do not freeze the card for unusual transactions.

-Passport size photos - If possible please carry passport size pictures (we can get it done here as well, not expensive). You will require this for SIM cards for phones here. Also decide as to who will be purchasing it, for reimbursement purposes.

Get sunscreen

Have a safe trip

Thanks everyone! And thanks so much Eklavya!
