I'm trying to batch plot dozens of PDF's at a time, for several dozen different plots. All I want to do is batch plot to PDF in monochrome because plotting in the original colors makes the PDF's unreadable. Plotting to DWF will not work for me, it must be PDF.
I have tried using a page setup to force TrueView to print in monochrome to PDF, but when I go to batch print only the file I made the page setup for will print in monochrome and the rest print in color. If I import the page setup for all drawings, the batch plot fails to create a PDF file at all. Worse yet, if I close the drawing in which I made the page setup, then the page setup is not saved and is lost forever. I'd love to be able to simply save a page setup locally, rather than associating it with a drawing and having it disappear whenever I close that drawing, and it would also be nice if importing page setups would allow me to batch print multiple files using the same page setup.

The Truview blade facilitates a view of the vocal cords by indirect laryngoscopy. We prospectively compared the view obtained at laryngoscopy and intubating conditions of Truview (Group 1) or Macintosh (Group 2) blades in 170 patients who were scheduled to undergo general anaesthesia. We studied pre-operative airway evaluation, laryngoscopic view, duration of intubation, maximal force applied during intubation, anaesthetist's estimation of intubation effort on a 1-3 scale, bleeding, teeth and soft tissue damage, and postoperative stridor and hoarseness. The results demonstrated that, whilst the Truview produced a better laryngoscopic view and less maximal force applied during intubation, the duration of intubation was longer. No significant difference was found in the anaesthetist's estimation of intubation effort, tooth damage or postoperative stridor and hoarseness. Significantly fewer patients suffered bleeding and soft tissue damage following intubation with the Truview than with the Macintosh blade. The Truview blade is a useful option for tracheal intubation in patients with normal and anticipated difficult airways.
I have some coworkers who are unable to open an autocad object in Mathcad; we typically copy and paste autocad drawings into the mathcad file itself (Mathcad 15); but when one goes to open/edit the drawing, mathcad treats it as a 'readonly' trueview file.
I also have a user with this same issue. He is using Windows 10 build 1703 and I went through his default apps and they all seem to point to AutoCAD for the appropriate files but yet the embedded drawings in MathCAD still kick off TrueView instead. I am thinking that the issue is in classes but I was wondering if anyone in this support thread had had any success in fixing this issue?
I had this problem with Mathcad 15 and never found a solution. I've now made the jump to Mathcad Prime 6 and was managing fine until I installed TrueView on my machine to convert Autocad revisions. Now I'm a few years down the line, back in the same position. Disappointing PTC.
While in desktop view if I click on view order details 80% of the time it will force me into the app. I don't want to be forced into the app. So I'm constantly closing the app it opens. 20% of the time it will do what I want. & go to the link as browser & desktop view .
To bypass being forced into the app. I click and hold order details link. & pop up open in new tab window. Which gives new window on browser mobile mode. Which I go and check back into desktop view. This is a time consuming process considering I spend a great deal of time on eBay.
Also. There is this glitch. That lets say I am on the browser desktop mode. & clicking view order details & it forces me into the app. Well just to view the order details would be fine in the app. But the app does not display the buyers order details it displays my last purchase order details... that's a glitch. & guess what I have to do.
This really can become messy. As the .com sometimes wants me to relic in of I'm on the .ca & vice versa. Which all forces me into the app or desktop re login page and when I re enter my password. It logs me In no where. And I have to start the process all over again.
If you have an Android device (aside from a Chromebook), then using the device manager, under Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default -- there is a setting called "Open supported links" holding that down gives three choices: "Open in this app" "Ask every time" and "Don't open in this app". Choose "Don't open in this app". Changing that setting prevented browser links from opening up in the app automatically for me.
If you have a Chromebook, open Chromebook Settings, scroll down to Google Play Store and select it. Select "Manage Android Preferences". From there the above instructions should work -- go to Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links: "Don't open in this app". Then back out of the settings and you should be all set. Or else, open Chromebook Settings, and select Apps. Select "Manage your Apps". From there go to eBay: More Settings: Advanced: Open by default: Open supported links: "Don't open in this app".
Once you have selected desktop mode in a particular browser tab, links opened within that same tab should remain in desktop mode; if you open a link in a new tab however, the new tab will default to mobile mode, and you will have to select desktop mode for that tab if desired.
it will force me into the app.....
Delete the app, problem solved. Hopefully, someone will come by with better information for you. I do know what you are experiencing, and have experienced the same of always being forced into app use with an android phone even when starting out with a browser or changing to "desktop" or "classic" view.
I do not use my phone for any sort of business so deleting the apps that function like you describe is no problem for me.
Hey Question for y'all, anyone know why when i convert a point shapefile to a dwg file via the Export to CAD tool, i get circles instead of points. I've tried changing the symbology to X's and changing the symbology size. Still get the circles.
As reference I'm using ArcGIS Pro 2.9 and Autodesk DWG TrueView 2022
This is not a bug, but a symbol applied to the point for the CAD layer. You can easily reset the style of the points by using the "DDPTYPE" command in AutoCAD and selecting the style you want to display the point with.
I believe this is a bug. I'm seeing exactly the same behaviour on ArcGIS Pro 3. Even when adding a CADType field to attributes and specifying POINT in the field (which should force the geometry) does the GP tool produce large circles instead of points. In direct contrast to what the technical help suggests (i.e. points become points, lines become lines)
Copying in a couple of the dev guys who've helped me before
@CraigWilliams @KoryKramer
Hopefully ESRI can comment on this or suggest a workaround as it's very frustrating that something which used to work, no longer does!!
For you and others on this thread, did the points you're working with in Pro originate from CAD; i.e. imported into Pro from dwg or another CAD format and you're now exporting again? Check that Entity field if present.
I can ping somebody on our CAD team, but we may need additional details to troubleshoot. If you feel this is a bug, the best thing to do is to contact Technical Support. I'll let you know if I hear back from our dev team on this.
Kory thanks! No, the data is a native ArcGIS feature class. I did wonder if any fields might accidentally be upsetting it, so I created a copy with every field stripped out and I get the same result. Also running it from a shapefile instead of a feature class.
In the meantime I am relying on QGIS to export as points
@PrasantaBhattaraiDo you know if this can be overridden with reserved CAD fields? (e.g. -app/latest/help/data/cad/reserved-cad-fields-for-dwg-and-dxf-files.htm) I was getting circles and am now suddenly getting points with a different seed file. Thanks!
After leaving Egypt, the Bible describes the Israelites crossing a deep sea that was miraculously split with walls of water on their right and left. When the Egyptians and their chariot force pursued, the water came crashing back down to destroy the entire army. Are miracles of this kind even possible?
