Hello,

Today is the launch of the Mental Health Specialist Library's Bipolar
Disorder Annual Evidence Update. This Annual Evidence Update is
intended to provide an update of the 2006 Bipolar Disorder Knowledge
Week guidelines and evidence, and so links to the 2006 material are
provided on every Annual Evidence Update page where relevant.

We have identified an updated guideline and 41 systematic reviews
published this year (between January and November 2007) on this
subject.

Seven new topics have been identified this year: Lithium and
Quetiapine for the treatment of acute depression; Haloperidol for the
treatment of acute mania; Later Life; Genetics; Mood disorders and
migration; and Psychosocial issues.

Please take a look for yourselves:

As always, if you have any comments or criticisms, please feel free to
get in touch with us via this email address or the Contact Us page on
the MHSL's website.

Many thanks,

Eli Harriss
