All:

I spoke with folks at HL7 yesterday, and learned that the scheduled face-to-face Workgroup Meetings are designed specifically for work that is best (or only) accomplished through face-to-face meetings. This clearly applies to the work we need to do at this point in developing standards for Behavioral Health. That said, I know there are a number of folks in our larger community who are instrumental to the work ahead, who are just not able to attend the Meeting in person in September.

I'd like to ask those of you who are on the fence about attending in person to reconsider making the trip to join the rest of us in person. This is a great opportunity to meet the rest of the HL7 community, and to learn about the important, related work that other Work Groups are doing. Details for registering can be found here.

For those who are unable to attend, we will plan to debrief with the larger group in the first call following the San Diego meeting.

Please feel free to reach out directly to either Leon or I with any questions or concerns.

Best,
Piper
