Thisis the first-ever national cubing championship of Cambodia.

We also have a Facebook groups for our Cubing Area. Khmer Top Cuber. You can join the group to stay updated with upcoming competitions in the area.

Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?

A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 12 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!

Q: What is the competition like?

A: Competitions are a bunch of tables where cubers like us get to sit and discuss our favorite thing, Cubes! Of course in addition there is competing, which will occupy one side of the competition hall, where you will see lots of timers flickering with contestants and new personal bests. This competition will have a break for lunch, and the competing is split up into groups, as to better organize who competes when. (Check the schedule tab and listen at the competition for more info on this.)

Q: Where do I find results?

A: All results are posted on the WCA page a couple of days after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about 2nd and 3rd rounds of events.

Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?

A: Make sure you pay your entrance fee in order to be placed on the registered list, which will also guarantee you a spot in the competition. If payment may be any issue, or you are not sure if you can attend, use the contact button to talk to us, and see if we can work out another payment strategy, or have you pay on arrival at the competition. No matter what your situation may be however, please register online. It is much easier for us to have you register now and pay later, then to have to input information at another time.

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.

In inspection I was able to see that the white/red and the orange/yellow pairs would end up in the top layer, and so those would be the pairs I'd solve first. Important here is to solve them with only 1 rotation.

Awww would have been sub 4 if you didn't get the lock up would have been even harder to beat then:P Also do you think it is possible to get sub 3? I believe you are the closest to it with 3.01 don't know if anyone has anything quicker.

Feliks you are known to have possibly the best lookahead in the world. You mentioned that most of your practice (95%) is subconscious/timed solves. How did you build up your lookahead? Did you do a bunch of speed solves and developed a superhuman level of tracking multiple pieces ("tracking") or do deliberate solves (walkthrough solves by yourself) and figured out "if I solve this pair, then this other pair ends up right here" ("knowing"). In other words, it seems like doing deliberate solves can skip the "tracking" stage because you'll know where the pieces will go. I know there's a blog page, but I want to study these theories further.

Hi, Faz.Firstly, congratulation to the world record for only 4.22 seconds.I am a cuber from China who is your faithful follower.I always wondered how to be a color neutral cuber .It is the color neutral to help you make the world record. So I am eager to know how to practice to be a color neutral cuber.

Ryan - Probably between 100 and 150 ZBLL algorithms. For inspecting F2L pairs, I generally look for pieces which won't be heavily affected by the moves used to solve the cross, or which will remain/end up in the top layer.

@Feliks How do I become sub-12? I'm currently averaging mid-13's with my best ao5 as a 12.77. I know all of COLL, and some WV, SV, MW, BLE, VLS, OLLCP, ZBLL, ELL, and CLS. Really long list of algs xD.

Jacob Shum Did you happen to check out Feliks' F2L algs not the useful ones but the different slot position ones that decreased my time down to sub 12 my cross is 1-2s F2L is 6-7s LL is 2-3s I get mostly Sub 12 but sometimes get sub 10. Your F2L always have room for improvement as it takes up the bulk of your time. Feliks has >1s cross 3-5s F2L and >2s LL

Feliks how do you tell the difference between similar cases with or without PLL parity such as the J Perm parity and the A Perm case they both look similar but they are quite different and also what are you working on for your next algorithms sheet?

@Ryan Ng But I always need to spend more time on it than other PLLs. The problem probably is I use the wrong algorithms. Do you have some best algs to do it? It looks that I am not use the same algs as Feliks :)

It looks that GAN460M haven't broken even one record. (Do I have some grammar problems? :))So I don't know it is good or not.(I had never tried it before) If you are using GAN460M, Would you please tell me about its corner-cut or some other things? Thanks a lot.

And do you know picube? Almost 40% of the well-known 44 players in China (include Kaijun Lin, the 44 BLD form world record) use picube's Wuque m to have competitions. so I decide to buy one. (just about 25-28 US dollars,188 Chinese yuan) But there's lots of people said that when GAN460M does PLL special cases, it can't do a good job. So that's it.

@sun yifan I average sub 40 for 4x4 and Gan 460 is my current main and I think the 460 is the best currently I although do think the 460 inner edges need a very slight change in magnet strength the outer layers are the best so far and the inner layers are just as good even if the magnets need a little adjustment I got my PB of 26.45 seconds with it and PB average of 31.28 also. Now for the cons it can sometimes overshoot if you are not accurate with your turns just like the SM but I enjoy the feeling of it when I turn because it feels exactly like a SM and another con that could be a pro is the size 60mm is smaller than usual for a person like me with bigger than average fingers could come across as a small problem but the performance makes up for it. Set up is quite easy also I simply used the Angstrom lubed with DNM and Lub Black and overall it is in my opinion better than my Wuque M just small changes need to be made to make it one of the best 4x4 but it is still competing with the aosu GTS and Wuqur for the best so we'll see how that goes. TLDR anyways this is my opinion on it you can decide it for yourself.

\nIce cube machines are essential in various settings, from hospitality to healthcare, providing a consistent supply of ice for various needs. The Cambodia ice cube machine category encompasses a range of devices designed to meet the ice production demands with efficiency and reliability.\n

Additionally, the ability to produce ice in various shapes and sizes allows for customization that is not possible with pre-bagged ice. Hygiene is another critical advantage, with many machines featuring integrated water filters for ongoing purification.\n

\nSelecting the appropriate ice cube production machine involves considering factors such as production capacity, space availability, and the specific ice requirements of a business. It is essential to assess the range of machines available to find one that aligns with operational needs and enhances the efficiency of business operations.\n

Cambodian marine ecosystems and local fishing communities are being destroyed by illegal and destructive fishing practices of large-scale bottom trawling and electric fishing. Protection and enforcement can turn this around. ICFC partner Marine Conservation Cambodia is building on past success in curtailing these practices, allowing marine ecosystems to recover and improving livelihoods for small-scale family fishers.

INNOVATION LEADING TO MAJOR SUCCESS: Since ICFC began partnering with MCC in 2016, MCC developed and refined a low-cost anti-trawling device that has been transformative. MCC's conservation and anti-trawling structures (CANTS) are made from 1.5-metre-long concrete blocks that are assembled into a cube or hexagon shaped tower on the seabed by 3 divers in about 30 minutes. By entangling trawl nets, CANTS are an effective deterrent to illegal highly destructive bottom trawling.

ICFC is proud to report that MCC has been awarded funding from the Asian Development Bank to expand the use of CANTS at marine reserves along the entire coast of Cambodia over a five-year period beginning in 2024.

MONITORING: As part of ongoing biological monitoring, MCC mapping of seagrass meadows in Kep and Kampot has documented the recovery of the marine ecosystem. In Kep province, seagrass surveys covering 35,820 had recorded (as of mid-2023). 6,399 ha of seagrass, 1,202 ha of seaweed, 440 ha of bivalve beds and 65 ha of coral reefs. Kep seagrass meadow proved to be the largest seagrass bed of Cambodia and one of the most diverse with 10 species of seagrass recorded. Monitoring includes invertebrates and fish, including endangered seahorses.
