Yo no puedo negar a Jesús, YO LO VI. Él es la justicia de Dios, Quien nos justifica delante del Padre por medio de Su pasión, muerte y resurrección.  Por eso cuando Dios nos ve a nosotros, ya no nos ve a nosotros, ve a Su Hijo en nosotros.  En Romanos 1:17 dice:   Porque en el evangelio la justicia de Dios se revela por fe y para fe, como está escrito: Mas el justo por la fe vivirá.  /  I cannot deny Jesus, I SAW HIM.  He is the righteousness of God, Who justifies us before the Father through His passion, death and resurrection.   That's why when God sees us, He no longer sees us, He sees His Son in us.   In Romans 1:17 he says: For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed by faith and for faith, as it is written: But the just shall live by faith.

Tampoco puedo negar al Espíritu Santo, yo lo he sentido en mi propia piel, en el bautismo del Espíritu Santo.  En la Biblia el Espíritu Santo recibe varios nombres:   /  Nor can I deny the Holy Spirit, I have felt Him on my own skin, in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.   In the Bible the Holy Spirit goes by several names:  

-Jesucristo lo llama 'el Paráclito', que significa 'consolador'. En nuestros sufrimientos, en las tribulaciones, el E.S. es quien nos consuela.  /  Jesus Christ calls Him 'the Paraclete', which means 'comforter'.  In our sufferings, in tribulations, the H.S.  He is the one who consoles us.

 -Abogado: porque nos defiende. Dice San Pablo: 'el Espíritu viene en ayuda de nuestra flaqueza. Pues nosotros no sabemos pedir como nos conviene; mas el Espíritu mismo intercede por nosotros como gemidos inefables' (Rom 8,26).  /  Lawyer: because he defends us.  Saint Paul says: 'the Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness.  Well, we do not know how to ask as it suits us;  but the Spirit himself intercedes for us like groanings that cannot be expressed' (Rom 8:26).

-Espíritu de verdad.  /  Spirit of truth.

-Don de Dios: porque es el gran regalo que nos hace Dios; enviarnos al Espíritu Santo.  /  Gift of God: because it is the great gift that God gives us;  send us the Holy Spirit.

-Santificador: porque es el que produce la santidad en nuestros corazones; El suscita en nuestros corazones las virtudes y las buenas cualidades que nos hacen santos y agradables a Dios. Por eso dice San Pablo que los frutos del E.S. son: amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, afabilidad, bondad, fidelidad, mansedumbre, templanza (Gal 5,22-23).  /  Sanctifier: because he is the one who produces holiness in our hearts;  He raises in our hearts the virtues and good qualities that make us holy and pleasing to God.  That is why Saint Paul says that the fruits of the H.S.  They are: love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance (Gal 5:22-23).

-Vivificante: porque El nos da la vida (cf. Gal 5,25). El nos engendra en el bautismo, nos hace hijos de Dios y nos hace nacer espiritualmente.  /  Life-giving: because He gives us life (cf. Gal 5:25).  He begets us in baptism, he makes us children of God and gives us spiritual birth.

La manera en la que nos identificamos como hijos de Dios es teniendo la marca del Espíritu Santo (2 Corintios 1:22).  El Espíritu Santo también es una garantía:  Efesios 1:13-14 En él también ustedes, cuando oyeron el mensaje de la verdad, el evangelio que les trajo la salvación, y lo creyeron, fueron marcados con el sello que es el Espíritu Santo prometido. Este garantiza nuestra herencia hasta que llegue la redención final del pueblo adquirido por Dios, para alabanza de su gloria.  /  The way we identify ourselves as children of God is by having the mark of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 1:22).   The Holy Spirit is also a guarantee:  Ephesians 1:13-14 In him you also, when you heard the message of truth, the gospel that brought you salvation, and believed it, you were marked with the seal which is the promised Holy Spirit .  This guarantees our inheritance until the final redemption of God's acquired people comes, to the praise of his glory.

Si la vida en Cristo Jesús me libró del pecado (Romanos 8:1-2), por qué seguimos viviendo en pecado? Porque seguimos alimentando la carne. Debemos alimentarnos del Espíritu Santo. Para buscar del Espíritu hay que apartarse, hay que buscarlo de mañana temprano.  /  If life in Christ Jesus freed me from sin (Romans 8:1-2), why do we continue to live in sin?  Because we continue to feed the meat.  We must feed on the Holy Spirit.  To search for the Spirit you have to separate yourself, you have to look for it early in the morning.
