Praise your way through your famine — you may not feel God but praise Him anyway and you will see the rain. When you don't know what to do about your situation . . . fast, pray and worship God anyway. When you don't know how to get out of the mess you are in, worship. Hosea 14: 1-2 tells us if you take words with you and praise God with those words, you're giving Him the calves of your lips, a sacrifice equal to sacrificing a bull.
There are some deserts that you will never get out of until you praise your way out. Don't give up. Praise your way out of that desert . . . praise your way out of that depression . . . praise your way out of that battle . . . praise your way out of that season of dryness. You will never be defeated if you understand the power of praise and worship!
One of the most powerful things you can do in the desert or wilderness to accompany fasting, is to worship with music and song. "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth" (Psalm 34:1, NKJV).
