Beehive Conference: May 9^th- THIS SATURDAY 2-4pm Edgewood Building

We invite all young women, ages 12-14, and those turning 12 in the month of May, to attend. 

FACE TO FACE with Elder and Sister Bednar: May 12th- 5pm lds.org 

Please make this your weekly activity. 

Camp Kickoff: May ^20th - 7pm Annex

All girls who plan to attend camp will get to meet their leaders and bond with their groups.

Graduating Seniors visit Stanford 1st Ward: May 31st- 1-4pm

DVD for the stake youth dance production: 

Not very many people have shown interest in these DVDs. If you would like some, please let us know as soon as possible.

We are asking a $5 donation.  (Please pay if you can) Could each ward let us know how many they need for their young women - first priority to those who participated and leaders - and we'll get those distributed as soon as we hear back from you and can coordinate a hand off.

Ward Conferences:

PALO ALTO 2ND WARDS

The Stake YW/YM Presidencies will host a combined YW/YM meeting as part of your stake conference.  Please work with your youth to arrange for opening exercises, including opening prayer, hymn and announcements, as well as a closing prayer. Members of the Stake YW/YM presidencies will present a lesson and President Wilson will give closing comments in the meeting. 

 

In conjunction with your ward conference we would love to have a quick (30-min) meeting with you (all YW leaders) to get a better sense of what is happening in your YW--successes, challenges, and feedback. We will connect with young women presidents to arrange a time to meet with you, likely just after the block meeting.

 

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY!!! (GREAT FOR A VALUE PROJECT)

Power 2 Become has partnered with JustServe.org and is looking for additional help coordinating a used shoe drive. More details here and attached. (This could also be a good Eagle project for any YM you might know.)
