Where can I download this tool? I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find it. The furthest I have gotten is: ENGINEERING.com File Downloads but when you launch the installation launcher it asks for a password... I can't find it anywhere else. Any ideas?
All of a sudden my Spurge stopped working - when I run the program, the operation hangs before the UI appears. Three copies of the process are shown operating in the Task Manager, but the program no longer functions. The best I can figure is that a recent Windows update has caused this program to stop functioning. My Spurge file isn't corrupted - I have other copies, and they all have the same issue. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?
It does not have the ability to save X versions they way Spekan Purge did, but that is minor. (At least I think Spekan Purge had that ability, been many years since I last needed a purge utility. I usually work in a Windchill environment.)

Innotiv Spekan Purge Tool 3.3 that could have been downloaded from our website for free. The common filename for the program's installer is sPurge.exe. The program belongs to Development Tools. This tool was originally designed by USG Innotiv Product Development. The following versions: 3.3 and 3.0 were the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
I believe people thought that because a command with this name exists in AutoCAD, we need to have it in SOLIDWORKS too, without really considering the differences between a drafting software and an intelligent parametric 3D design tool. At that time I was not a big supporter of this function, because it was not made clear what things should be the subject of purging.
Unfortunately, the way it is implemented now in the 2016 release (SP01) the Purge command can be extremely dangerous, considering that the purged features could be used outside of a part and their absence could create huge errors in huge number of assemblies where the part is used as a component.
