I got a nice meanwell 24v power supply and a sanguinololu 1.3b (the reprap.me one) for my mendelmax build, but I've read stuff making me think the caps will overload, or the traces to the bed heater will melt. Is this true? is there something else I should be aware of?

My sangiunioloulou has a hard time with 12 volts and a .8 ohm heatbed - so I suspect the same would be true - I'd also be concerned about the 5vdc rectifier - that's a lot of voltage to dissipate...

What do you mean by had trouble? If the MOSFET gets hot maybe I can add a heat sink or use USB power. Does any one know if I have to replace my caps for 24v?

Brandon can you not read the max voltage on the cap?
According to the wiki and bom on said wiki some of the electrolytics are only rated at 25v which is too close.
