Dear all,

Please see below for an opportunity to receive guidance on your research publications through an in-person workshop in the US. I did this workshop a few years ago and found it very helpful.

All the best,
Amy

Subject Line: Publish Your Research: Special Format Summer Seminar 2024

The Summer Seminar for Writing Research leadership is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our special 2024 Summer Research Publication Workshop. The application due date is April 10, 2024. The Workshop will be from August 5-10 at the University of Denver. [1]

This session is designed for early-career and mid-career scholars looking to work through the publication process with a completed data-driven research project. The session will offer guided work on the key stages of publication, including the processes and strategies for producing publishable texts; work on ethical considerations; and resources for ongoing publication progress. The five-day program will include peer sessions, 1-to-1 consultations with program leaders, and time for individual work. Participants will finish the program with progress towards publication submission and an action plan for completion. Those who have received a revise and resubmit notice from a journal are welcome to apply.

See the daily schedule, dates, program location and costs at our website: https://sites.dartmouth.edu/writing-research-seminar/

The seminar will be led by regular Dartmouth Summer Writing Research Seminar leaders Chris Anson, Charles Bazerman, Tiane Donahue, and Dylan Dryer. Additional leaders will be announced soon.

If you are interested in attending, please fill out the application form here:

We are excited to be launching this special version of the  Summer Seminar at a terrific location.

[1] At this time we are finalizing agreements with the University of Denver, and these agreements should be complete in the next two weeks. Should there be any reason that the seminar will not be held, we will immediately notify those who have applied, but we expect it to move forward.
