CENTRE LSD HOSTS GRANT INCEPTION MEETING ON THE SIDE-BY-SIDE MOVEMENT FOR GENDER JUSTICE SCALE UP PROJECT IN ABUJA

 

The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) will on Tuesday, 11th of June 2024 holds a Grant Inception Meeting on The Side-By-Side Movement for Gender Justice Scale Up Project in Abuja.

The focal person for the Side-by-Side Movement for Gender Justice at the Centre, Mr. Nyong Essien in a statement, stated that the Movement is a global platform for bringing together Faith/Traditional Leaders and people of faith as advocates of gender justice. The Movement which has been in existence since 2018 supported by Christian Aid recently received additional support from Ford Foundation to deepen its engagement in the two States of Benue and Kano.

Centre LSD  is therefore organizing the Project Inception  Meeting to create awareness on the project and bring Stakeholders together towards the effective implementation of the Core support for scaling-up of the Side-by-Side Movement for gender justice project.

Expected at the meeting are religious and traditional leaders, key government MDAs and civil society organizations, who offer response services to victims of gender based violence.
