2021-2022 Colloquium Series - Call for Presentations
The Tourism Studies Working Group would like to invite participants to speak or to organize small workshops for presentations for our upcoming 2021-2022 colloquium series. If you are working on a research subject related to tourism, travel or heritage, and would like to present your work, please get in touch as soon as possible.

Presentation formats may vary, from individual speakers on a single research topic to mini-symposiums of several presenters on a mutually related topic. We are also happy to host other speaker/topic formats.

The TSWG generally meets on Fridays during the UC Berkeley academic calendar year, from 4PM-6PM PST, with the occasional exception for speakers in distant time zones.

During the 2021-2022 series, we will introduce a hybrid format. Local speakers and participants will be present on campus, while simultaneously broadcasting to non-local participants via Zoom. Non-local speakers will be hosted via Zoom meetings. We hope that both formats will continue to interest attendees from many locations and backgrounds.

Further, our long postponed International Conference on Tourism and Musical Imaginaries with take place in person in Berkeley 24-27th  March 2022. Please send us letters of interest in participation.

We are looking forward to your proposals and suggestions!

TSWG 2021-2022 co-chairs,
Nelson Graburn (gra...@berkeley.edu)
Mahlon Chute
