I was wondering if you could relay this through Men of Etsy.
The little girl that i have been teaching from down the road was
involved in a hit and run while trying to get onto the bus this
morning. ( needless to say i'm PISSED ) She is currently in the
hospital and will be observed through the night. They put a cast on
her leg up to her groin. She is going to have to stay home for the
next week with her leg above her heart to try and keep the swelling
down, because her break is wanting to shift and if they can not keep
it together by her next appointment they will have to go in and put in
metal plates to keep the bone from shifting.
They have yet to find the car or driver. But during the accident she
knocked off his drivers side mirror. They believe it to be either
black or blue. We hope that they are brought to swift justice before
they can hurt anyone else.
We have started a fund that I am making items to put up right now to
help raise money for her and her family. And Theolecountrysoapco has
made my sweet grass soap as a fund item as well. We hope to raise some
money to help the single father with cost of the hospital and his time
off work.
