MoE contests.........

here's the info.
We need to really consider changing our name now...we are being held
up by Etsy's new enforcement of their copyright/trademark stuff...it
may be a long time until we get official permission to use the Etsy
name...so,since we need to get cracking on some design and project
issues now is a good time to 1. change the name 2.design a new banner
and avatar,our current one seems offensive to some and this is a good
time to make these things MoE designed!
Rules for the contest~There are 2 parts..first the new name,then the
design part.
*I think keeping our initials of MoE is good...the *E* needs
replacing...so find me a cool,creative *E*...other combos of the
*M*o*E* letters are good too.Or a name that fits *M*E*N* is also
good.any great name will be considered though!
We will vote as a team by email on August 31,2007( I will send an
email containing a ballot)
*The design part will consist of a banner design and matching avatar.
(Avatar needs to be a good sized image to use on other sites and for
other uses...the avatar needs to be editable size)Entries will be
accepted following the results of the new name vote!
The winners will receive credit for their designs with a link on every
site we use the images on when possible.
The entries will posted on our Men of Etsy flickr group for viewing.
(The vote on this one will also be done by email ballot)
Voting will be on September 10,2007
Have fun...come up with great designs that say MoE!

greek...here's what i came up with.
this is the one I like: Men Of Edo
Edo is latin: to make known, to bring about, to create and bring about
ideas and information as well as entertainment.
the other one is: Men of Ephebe
Ephebe is greek, it describes a young greek male who has come into manhood.
i like the meaning of this one but the word isn't quite as poetic
hope these are okay suggestions
