Hi Junta,

The most awaited PG Cult 2011 phase II is around the corner starting
on 12th march, for two days.

We have Mono-acting competition "Monarchy" to show his\her own on
stage talent is happening on 12th march i.e. this Saturday.

DATE : 10th March, Thursday
TIME : 4.00 pm
VENUE : SAC YOGA ROOM

General Rules

* Maximum Time limit – 4-7 min
* A monoact may be a small skit, a mime or even a dramatised story
narration performed by a single actor on a stage
* Participants are supposed to perform a skit on any theme of
their choice. The act may be humorous, tragic, satirical, etc. No
restrictions here.
* The performance should include actions and dialogues.
* Team Size: 1 (an accompanist on sound, if required, may be
used).
* Music is optional, no extra marks allocated for that.
* The languages permitted for monoacting are English / Hindi.
* Props and costumes are allowed but they have to be arranged by
the participants.
* The participant should register their name with the coordinator
at least an hour before the event.
* Judging Criteria: Acting, Script (content), Screenplay, Body
Language, Overall Impact
* Any kind of vulgarity/profanity will not be tolerated.
* The decisions by the judges are final.
* Venue: Yoga room
* Items provided: A set of speakers, halogens.



Points System:

5 positions will be given

PG Cult Tally Point Distribution

o Position 1 : 20 Points

o Position 2 : 16 Points

o Position 3 : 13 Points

o Position 4 : 10 Points

o Position 5 : 8 Points

Participation Points: 4 Points



Penalties

· The maximum allowed time limit is 7 mins please keep it with
in the time to avoid the penalties.

· A penalty of 4 point is awarded for every 1 min after 7 mins
and after 10 mins participation will be disqualified.
