-After reviewing the new specifications we altered the design to use
commercially available threaded ball studs and to machine the pads out
of thermoplastic
-The joints of the clamp will be attached with shoulder bolts and not
snap fitted
-We selected the 3 axis stand and magnetic arm w/ optional clamp that
we want to purchase (can be seen on the google group)
To Do
for Thursday
-Meet at 1:00 in the library
-Set up a meeting with Andy to go over the design and begin submitting
parts to be fabricated
-Dwayne will continue to work on the solid model of the clamp
-Aric, Nick and Tom will work on the solid models for the pads
-If approved, get the selected parts ordered
