Hey everyone!

This month's Memphis Java User Group will be meeting Thursday, September 17th, 6:30pm at Cowork Memphis. Please RSVP at http://www.meetup.com/memphis-technology-user-groups/events/225077617/ so we can ensure enough space and food for everyone.

Local software engineer, Java expert and data scientist Steve Ash will present an Introduction to Data Science. Steve Ash is currently a Ph. D. candidate at U of Memphis (Compuer Science). He works for ARGO Data doing Research & Development work. His talk will be a brief tour of data science-- the process, challenges, and general families of methods and tasks involved. This will be more or less the same presentation he gave at the last data science meetup, so if you missed that here's your chance to catch it.
