Come and help us promote freethought

in the Midsouth at the

2015 Cooper Young Festival !


Cooper Young district in Midtown Memphis, Saturday, September 19th (Sept. 20th rain date), 9:00 am -7:00 pm

MFA Booth (# E 016) is located in the parking lot of The Beauty Shop on the east side of Cooper, just south of the intersection of Cooper and Young

 

We need volunteers to:

  • Hang out and commune with others freethinkers
  • Point out the benefits of having a vibrant atheist/agnostic/humanist presence in our community
  • Pass out literature and give MFA Bible, Evolution and Church/State and Climate Change Quizzes
  • Challenge the rare fundy that happens by the booth
  • Give others at the booth a well-deserved break to eat and see the rest of the Festival

  • Festival opens at 9:00 am
  • 11 am - 1 pm (slow; need one freethinker to help)
  • 1 pm- 3 pm (this is the peak time for festival browsers)
  • 3 pm - 5 pm (this is the peak time for festival browsers)
  • 5 pm - 7 pm (break down starts at 7 pm if you'd like to stay a little and lend a hand)
