at the "Down to Earth"
Celebration
at Shelby Farms! On this Saturday, April 2nd, from
10:00 am to 4:00 pm, MFA will have a booth promoting
science, reason and secular government. Come out to enjoy the festival and to
contribute to our community's understanding of these crucial
areas. Down
to Earth Festival at Shelby Farms Park is the region's premier Earth Day
celebration, featuring live music, great food, a kids crafts and hikes, play
zone, environmental art, green exhibitors and much more!
Admission is free, $5 donation
for parking. More at- Down to Earth Festival We need you to
help at the booth! You do not have to be an expert to share your thoughts and views about
important issues such as global warming, evolution, protecting our environment
or the importance of science education in the public schools.
We need volunteers at 12:00 pm and at 2:00
pm. Just a couple of hours promoting freethought on a beautiful day at
