The 19th century suffered from strong tenses between ideologies which exploded in the 20th century in two world wars. That is not our fault but we have to learn from that. We are responsible by God for a prosperous future in peace.

Are you saved? The reason I ask is because you seem to be very
ignorant. So that leads me to believe that you really have no
understanding of the Lord. To someone who believes the Lord well
enough to tell you about the free gift you can receive, called
SALVATION. Salvation is the only way you will enter the kingdom of
heaven. You have to believe with all your heart that God sacrificed
his only begotten Son Jesus Christ for all our sins. You also must
believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and resurrected in 3
days. I will pray for you that you allow yourself this gift and become
a true Christian in the army of the Lord. If you choose to remain
ignorant lost soul, enjoy your life in hell.

That is very chilling and very disturbing. Mostly because that used to be me when I attended church school and was programmed by my parents and community.  It is very embarrassing that I was so far off in lala land that I actually thought like that and actually had a highly structured fantasy revolving around imaginary friends, fear and myth. It is very sad. They actually had me believing that a ruler of the universe came to earth to become a zombie.

Funny you should post that, Jonathan.. a few of us watched Jesus Camp at my house last night. Chilling stuff. I mean, horror movie kind of stuff. I almost lose it each time I watch those little children being tortured day after day. Crying and sobbing... with the spit scared out of them. I can understand why Manuel Ramirez and Bonaventura are parrotting their religions tenets if they were subjected to mind washing indoctrination as children. In a way they are victims too.

 thought this might be a worthwhile exercise for all of the nay-sayers
out there; the God-mockers who regularly infest our Christian forum.
The Darwinistas have their "Dawkins scale" out there to demonstrate
just how deeply they hate Jesus. Well will not be outdone! This is
your chance to prove to the world that America is a Christian country.




It goes without saying that every True Christian™ loves Jesus with all
their heart and soul. I would invite them to describe in detail the
manifestations of that love.




For those of you who are false Christians or weak-kneed liberals, I
would urge you to think carefully before checking the box and posting.

    You mentioned the Dawkins scale but not everyone here may be familiar with it. It ranges from a 1 being a strong theist to a 7 being a strong atheist. You said that scoring high on the scale is evidence that people hate Jesus so I ask you a question: If the scale were for a belief in Santa Claus instead of God would you not rank high as a strong unbeliever? Then according to your reasoning that would mean you hated Santa Claus. C'mon man... THINK!!
