Man, I have never in my life seen a group of people so pathetic and irrelevant.  I mean, how does the Klan even exist anymore?

I'm just glad there was no big trouble.  Only 61 Klan members showed ,, not an impressive turn out. making thier protest kind of irrelevant too... works for me!

The Heart of Memphis event appeared to have a nice turnout even with the rain - thankfully it had buildings to move into. The Times did mention this rally as a counter to the other.

As to the KKK rally, I suspect more people showed up to observe what kind of bigots would actually show their faces without the masks (I did notice sunglasses and ball  caps on the news) and walk in those robes with the cameras uploading to YouTube live ... what kind of jobs do these KKK people actually have?

I love that their megaphone malfunctioned--too perfect a metaphor for this inane group's impotent cries for relevance.

thanks shadow.. I can't believe I didn't remember this. Matt , I like that as a metaphor too.! lol........ As pertaining to our monday night discussion, I think this kind of hatemongering group incites more violence than any video game could.
