As a read through my Crumb illustrated book of Genesis it struck me that the old testament is in many ways like a SciFi novel .  Science Fiction as in imaginative speculation about things bronze age science didn't understand yet.  Most of our Science Fiction is projected towards the future because we think that is where more of the mystery lays.  But for the Bible most of the mystery was turned towards the past, who are we?  How did we get here? etc.

Hi y'all - well Genesis is concerned with the past maybe when Crumb
gets to Revelations.....
Having read that book, perhaps you would be interested in the Genesis
challenge? The prize is $100 to be awarded at Occam's next week!
